Why We Love It:
Yes, this is the time of year when all the peony lovers of the world are rejoicing but there is a flower that can hold it's own when compared to the great peony.  Ecuadorian Garden Roses are available all year long and are the next best thing when peonies are out of season.  Like peonies they start out as round bulbs and then burst into what looks like an infinite pool of silky petals.  Garden roses come in a wide variety of colors and budget-wise are typically less expensive than peonies and just as beautiful.  All in all, garden roses with their many advantages are the cream of the crop

Working at The Hidden Garden means your weekends are pretty much working days.  On any given weekend, our calendar is booked with weddings, mitzvahs, private parties, and special events where we provide coordinating and florals.
This weekend we had two weddings.  One at a private home with a reception at Il Cielo and the other at the Bel-Air Country Club. The pictures below are from our Sunday wedding with beautiful hyrdangea, tulip, rose, amaranthus, and lisianthus centerpieces. They looked great against the celedon green linens and napkins.

Why We Love It:
Craspedia (a.k.a. Billy Balls) are the cutest little bursts of yellow vibrance.  They are a perfect round shape and their tiny little presence packs a powerful punch.  Billy Balls pair well with herbal textures, such as succulents.  As you can see, we love using craspedia with a mix of our other bright flowers and they really stand out against whites, greens, and grays.  Think outside the box, fall in love with Billy Balls!

Why We Love It:
Here at The Hidden Garden we absolutely LOVE using succulents in our arrangements.  Not only are they long-lasting, they offer a long list of attributes; beautiful shapes, colors and textures that make them stand out against our flowers.  You will often see them in our "chic & modern" arrangements.  Succulents have also become quite popular in wedding and event centerpieces.  They can be soft (when coupled with pastel colors) or daring (when matched with jewel tones).  Whatever the theme is, succulents make their own statement.
