Why We Love It:
My second favorite springtime flower, after Lilac, is definitely Viburnum. We will have the privilege of using these lovely chartreuse
green florals through May. They give our arrangements a soft and full look with such a dashing splash of color. Our designers hide them from each other so they can use them in their own arrangements. We can't take our eyes off them! See for yourself...
Sorry to say, but there won't be a blog post today. The Hidden Garden is in a flurry getting ready for our annual vendor appreciation party. We are getting so excited about tonight's event but there won't be one if I don't stop typing!.... Stay tuned for pictures of our event. (That should give you a hint about tomorrow's blog content :)
One of the first decisions you have to make when choosing florals for a wedding or event is high or low centerpieces. Of course you can incorporate both to achieve a "balanced" look. But, while high centerpieces give the appearance of grandure, low centerpieces evoke intimacy. They will be the focul point for all guests at each table to enjoy. There's also so many options to choose from. You can have one center arrangement or a cluster of smaller arrangements. Low centerpieces can be as exquisite or classically simple as you'd like and still hold everyone's attention. There are quite a few benefits to low centerpieces; they are easier to maintain, they typically cost less, and your guests can take them home at the end of the night! Here are just a few examples.... take a looksie
From pure whites to brilliant bursts of color, our designers have been busy creating our client's spring arrangements. This week features a full spectrum of flowers and colors including chic orchids and opulent centerpieces.
Take a look at our favorites....
The Spring season brings wonderful flowers of all colors. There are so many beautiful arrangements that you can easily make yourself. Right now, your local supermarket or farmer's market has bunches of tulips, iris, daffodils, and lilac. Grab a bunch (or mix and match), grab a vase (whatever you have on hand) and let the flowers do the work. If you want to get really creative, add a ribbon treatment or substitute a unique bowl or cup for a vase. Use your flowers to brighten someone's day, make an entire room "pop", or just simply put a smile on your face.
