From congratulatory baby arrangements to sky high centerpieces, this week's designs have been out of this world! Not only do we love flowers but the designers at The Hidden Garden LOVE ribbon treatments. We have spools and spools of every color, texture and style of ribbon you can imagine. It really adds a personal touch every arrangement. This week we were also lucky enough to have a sample meeting with an especially colorful bride, who wants hot summer centerpieces for her wedding. You know we love getting creative!
Just take a look!
The Hidden Garden had two gorgeous weddings! Both on the beautiful southern california coastline but on opposite ends. We had a fun, colorful and vibrant outdoor wedding at
Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. Contrasting colors of hot pink (hydrandgea, roses, tulips, macara orchids) and turquiose (linens) really made the tented reception pop against its natural surroundings. Not to mention the fun parasols which added a great attention-grabbing factor. Our other event was a charming, romantic and light-hearted ocean view wedding at
Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes. The wedding couple was absolutely adorable and you could just see the love radiating between them. The lush reds, pinks and whites of their floral decor just accented the love already in the room.
We were going through pictures of some of our most recent weddings and there just happened to be the CUTEST photos of the CUTEST flower girls and ring bearers. These little boys and girls just stole the show along with our hearts. It's not just their faces, it's their whole attitude that just makes these little precious people so important to the ceremony. There is such a wide range of emotions and true innocence displayed on their tiny little faces that any bride and groom should feel lucky to have these moments captured in their wedding photographs.

Why We Love It:
Amaranthus = Romance. With its beautifully lush and drooping vines, amaranthus gives centerpieces and arrangements a classy antique finish. Technically, it's considered to be part of the herb family and it comes in a pretty chartreuse green or deep ruby red. It's also available year-round so we can enjoy it whenever we want. However, as much as we love this pretty flower, most of our clients either love it or hate it. Amaranthus definitely adds a distinct and dramatic look and if that's not what you're going for, it can be a complete turn off. Take a look at a few of our high centerpieces to get a real feel for the power of amaranthus.
Another beautiful summer day in Los Angeles, minus all the traffic! Carmegeddon was great for us! We were on location at the prestine
Regent Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills setting up a pretty outdoor ceremony and gorgeous ballroom reception. It was so nice and easy to work with Julie Pryor of
Pryor Events for this special occassion. The wedding was so soft and sweet with pinks, lavendar, ivory and touches of dusty miller. The bride looked absolutely stunning, as did the entire wedding, and we were so happy to be a part of the celebration!
