The Hidden Garden has several wonderful corporate accounts that we absolutely love designing for each week. This week we wanted to highlight one of our lovely downtown clients, Conway Mackenzie. They were looking to add some color and vibrance into their beautiful space. Well, they found the right florist for that! What I love about this account is that they let us use our creativity in design, flower selection and container options. Each week we bring in something new and fresh. Our designers are excited to do their flowers. Take a look at the pictures below to really get a feel for how much of an impact fresh flowers can bring to ANY office!

Paper flowers are so popular right now! The great thing about them is that you can make them yourself. Whether you make them out of card stock, recycled book pages, tissue paper, ribbon, twine or tape the end result is always something creative. What started with tissue paper hanging flower balls has evolved into making very detailed specific types of flowers; dahlias, roses, plumerias, hydrangea, daisies, etc... can all be made from paper products. Not to mention, when you use paper flowers your color choices are endless and you don't have to worry about the season :). Paper flowers can be used as home or party decorations (wall decor, hanging wreaths, bouquets, hanging installations, invitations, party favors, centerpieces, and the list goes on...). So, find the time and try your hand at making some of these beauties!

Let me set the scene:
Amazing Spanish-style house in Santa Monica. Lush backyard. Multi-cultural wedding decor- California fresh mixed with Moroccan mixed with Indian mixed with Organic. Beautiful couple with a beautiful family. Talented creative coordinator, Armina Contreras.
This wedding was eye candy, with no 2 arrangements the same and vibrant colors of tangerine, lime, lemon, pomegranite, and lemon. All the containers mismatched and eclectic to create interest. The picture don't even do justice, see for yourself. Fall in love...

The Hidden Garden recently did an event that was very near and dear to our hearts in honor of a beautiful little boy. He loved Spongebob Squarepants and we wanted to do something really speacial and meaningful for him. Our wonderfully talented designer, Kathy really put her heart into creating this magnificent piece. She spent hours creating this masterpiece from scratch; wood, styrofoam, fabric, paint, wire, hot glue, a saw, pottled plants and cut flowers (along with vision :). The end result really blew us away. We were humbled to be able to deliver a little piece of something this little boy loved so much and do it using things we love so much... flowers.
The view... the grounds... the house... everything, beautiful!!
Villa Sevillano in Capenteria just outside of Santa Barbara is a wedding location dream come true.... and working with
Katie Tiffany of Tiffany Weddings was our dream come true. Not to mention, the bride & groom were stunning! We can't wait to get the pictures back from Iris & Light, but here are some we wanted to share ---we just couldn't wait.
